Jarrett Whaley
Oversees overall mission execution, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring technical objectives remain aligned and are delivered within scope.
Lead Systems Engineer
Mike Broome
Defines system requirements and overall spacecraft architecture, manages subsystem interfaces and trade studies, and ensures all elements integrate into a cohesive mission platform.
Lead Software Engineer
Michael Halvorson
Leads software architecture, development, testing, and validation, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with defined system requirements.
Lead Mechanical Engineer
Jake Stone
Directs structural and thermal design efforts, ensuring hardware meets durability, manufacturability, and environmental constraints associated with spaceflight.
Lead Marketing Engineer
Joshua Price
Translates technical development into clear public communication, supporting partnerships, proposals, and external engagement.
Workforce Development
The Alabama CubeSat Initiative supports the DoomSat mission by providing workforce development opportunities to university students throughout Alabama, enabling hands-on experience in real mission development.
